Adult Book Club

Welcome to the Garden City Library Adult book club.  We hope you will join us. 

April 28, 5:00 pm:  Come prepared to share your thoughts on any book you have read written by Agatha Christie.   The Garden City Library has 59 titles to choose from. One of my favorites is “The Man in the Brown Suit”. The books are not too scary. (I hate scary can’t sleep at night books). But they are suspenseful and keep you entertained.

May 26, 5:00 pm:  The book club book for May is any book by a lesser known author. Sorry no James Patterson or Nora Roberts this month.  We would like you to find a book you like or even one that you don’t like that is not on the best sellers list. Come and tell us all about why you loved or hated it, and then maybe we will read it and love or hate it too.  

June 30, 5:00 pm: Glorious summer time.  This month we will be reading a biography.  The library has a wide variety of biographies from presidents to movie stars (and some who were both). To heroes and royalty and some who were just plain weird. Come and find out about someone who you never knew.
